Content pending review

The same Campana PDO buffalo mozzarella, in pearls you eat in one bite. Serve them as they are, no cutting, and each one holds that juiciness it releases as you bite into it.

Small bites of tradition

The size changes how you serve them, not what they are. They go straight into a salad, onto a cocktail stick or onto a board, with nothing to cut, and every piece keeps the milky flavour and the sharp note of buffalo milk.

Campana PDO, since the twelfth century

They are made in Campania, with the PDO certification that guarantees where they come from and how they are made. Their history goes back to the twelfth century, when Benedictine monks began working buffalo milk in southern Italy.

What makes them special

  • One bite each: pieces of around 10 g, ready to serve without cutting.
  • Full buffalo flavour: intense, creamy and lasting, with the sharp note that cleans the palate.
  • Protected Designation of Origin: the same PDO as the large mozzarella.

On our Instagram we post recipes and ideas for making the most of them.

How to enjoy it

  • Suggested pairing: a young, fresh white such as a Falanghina or a Verdejo, or a dry sparkling wine.
  • Fresh salads: perfect for a mini caprese, with cherry tomatoes and fresh basil.
  • As an aperitif or tapa: on their own, with extra virgin olive oil and oregano, or with cured meats.
  • On a cheese board: they add a fresh, soft note among the aged cheeses.
  • Hot or cold: as a topping for gourmet pizzas, focaccia or Mediterranean bowls.
